Our Story &
Our Mission
Four decades of serving Kansas families with compassion, craftsmanship, and enduring stone.

A Family Business
Built on Respect
Kansas Monument was founded in 2004 by Harold and Dorothy Frisbie in Wichita, Kansas, with a simple belief: every family deserves a memorial that truly honors their loved one.
What began as a small workshop has grown into one of Kansas’s most trusted monument companies — but our values have never changed. We still approach every project with the same personal care and craftsmanship that defined our earliest work.
Today, the second generation of the Frisbie family leads our team, continuing the tradition of working directly with families through every step — from choosing the right stone to the final engraving and installation.
We are proud partners with MonuKiosk and FrisbieKiosk, allowing families to browse and design monuments online while receiving our local, personal service.
Our Core Values
We know you’re going through one of life’s most difficult moments. Every interaction is handled with the deepest sensitivity and care.
Every monument is shaped by hand in our Kansas workshop. We use only premium granite, marble, and bronze chosen to honor your loved one for generations.
No high-pressure sales. We walk you through your options clearly, help you understand what works for your cemetery, and let you decide at your own pace.
You see a design proof before any stone is cut. You approve every detail. Nothing moves forward without your full confidence and blessing.
We are a Kansas company through and through. We know local cemeteries, cemetery regulations, and the communities we serve — personally.
A monument is meant to endure. We stand behind every piece we create and will address any concern long after installation is complete.
